1. a. it is late. she is turning the corner. her heart starts to beat faster and faster. she is afraid.

    b. she turns the corner and there are hundreds of colorful balloons floating and tea lights lining the road.

the new coldplay album has created a world of imagery i've never seen. i am remembering why i love music all over again.

things i used to be afraid of:

being the only one awake in the house

driving

being home alone

waking up and being the only person alive

the oven

...

Things that I have heard/read/seen in the last few days that swept me off my feet:

1. yesterday i fell in love with e.e. cummings.

i've known of his work for quite some time now.

but yesterday i fell in love with him.

here is what made me fall:

nobody,not even the rain, has such small hands
